Siloam Mission was inspired and graced through the words of Hebrews Chapter 13. The first Siloam-mission activities began on February 29th, 2004 at Jersey City’s Journal Square carried out by an devout Christian couple who saved up their small earnings to provide food bags for the homeless people. This small effort which started with 25 meals and now has grown to serve up to 100 meals every Saturday night.
Since January of 2013, with an aid of a catering truck, the Mission is now able to provide freshly cooked meals. Also with the kind donations of winter jackets and socks, the Mission was able to provide clean clothes that would help the homeless stay warm for the winter.
